DOUGIE MAC MIDNIGHT WALK 2025

Friday evening 20th June saw our team working n the dark ! which is unusual to say the least. We were supporting the Midnight Walk hosted by the Dougie Mac Hospice in Stoke on Trent and feature about 800 walkers on the longest day night raising money and awareness for the fantastic hospice. Our members patrolled the route providing a first response service and also reassurance for the walkers many of which were females. The team was called to quite a few incidents, mainly slips trips and sprains plus a couple of collapse cases due mainly to the very warm weather...fortunately nothing proving serious. Our Safety Marshals Gary and Mark were interviewed by local radio, fame at last !
