THE STEVE JONES MEMORIAL ROAD RACE 2025

On Sunday morning 18th May 2025, our team returned to the Holt/Wrexham Circuit in North Wales to support the 2025 Steve Jones Memorial Road Race sponsored & organised by Graham Weigh Racing and TLI Cycling. We all met up at the nearby Farndon Community Centre, Cheshire. Race 1 left the Race HQ at precisely 10.am. followed by Race 2 and 3 in 5 minute intervals. Each peloton proceed south in a neutralised formation until passing over the River Dee bridge and entering the Principality of Wales . A quick blast of the Lead Car's horn and the racing commenced. Five laps of the circuit through the Industrial Estate and back out into the Welsh countryside and the rides reached the Finish Line at the quarry. Happy to report that the event passed without incident or injury and everyone returned to the Race HQ for presentation of trophies and tea & refreshment which was greatly appreciated by all taken part. Well Done all.
