Glow Green Walk

On Friday evening, 3rd February our team supported the Glow Green Walk for Cancer, well over a thousand walkers tackled a course from the Pier Head along the riverside, then into

the city via the two Cathedrals and the Cavern Club etc raising very welcome funds for the marvellous Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Most of the walkers wearing green costumes and many of the public buildings including the Royal Liver Buildings bathed in Green lighting. We were tasked with providing reassurance to the walkers, many of them female and also first aid provision if needed, fortunately all medical equipment remained stowed unused on the bikes. The atmosphere was one of great fun and laughter and it was a great pleasure to be a small part. We did this event last year and have been asked again in 2024.
