Yesterday, Sunday the 21st of July, our team returned to the Holt Wrexham circuit to support Graham Weigh Racing who had organised the event in tribute to a former member who had passed away last year. It was run on TLI Cycling rules.
Just under 100 riders entered the event which was three races running concurrently, five minutes apart.....the start time had to be put back over an hour due to a running event on part of the same course....the weather was ideal for the race but the later time meant a substantial increase in traffic on the main roads. We coped ok and everyone returned to the race hq without any incident or injury. A fantastic tribute to Paul RIP.
