On the evening of Friday the 6th February our Team returned to Liverpool to support the annual Clatterbridge Cancer Charity Glow Green Walk round the famous sites in the Liverpool city centre. Braving the weather, which wasnt very kind to us this year, over 1000 walkers set on the event which covers about 8 miles passing famous sites such as the two Cathedrals (yes Liverpool boasts both RC and Anglican versions) and the famous Cavern Club, once home of the Beatles. The city was bathed in green light and those taking part dressed in outfits of the same colour. The evet was to raise awareness and much needed money for the fabulous Clatterbridge Cancer Charity which do an outstanding amount of fantastic work in the Merseyside area. As usual the walkers were entertained by singers, choirs and even a samba band on the route at various points. Our team were positioned throughout the route to provide assistance to anyone requiring it and were greeted warmly by the walkers and many selfies were taking with the bikes. We will be doing it all again on the 27th February when we do the very first ever Glow Green Chester.
