The Final Events Of 2025

Sunday the 14th December was our two ultimate events attended for 2025 when two teams turned out braving absolutely terrible weather resulting in bad road conditions due to surface water. Nonetheless we were there to support two great Christmas Toy Runs which we have done for many years.

Team 1 travelled to Liverpool for the annual Alder Hey Scooter Run, about 500 scooter riders and bikers assembled at McDonalds to ride to the great Alder Hey Childrens Hospital laden with toys which they had donated for the young patients in the hospital over the Christmas period.

Team 2 were looking after a similar event organised by the Rivi Bikers who assembled at the Rivington Barn near Bolton and we escorted them to the fantastic Derian House Childrens Hospice in Chorley, Lancashire also with a Transit full of gifts for the young residents of the hospice who wont be with their families over the festive time.

Being soaked to the skin is nothing compared to what some of these children are going through and to see the smiles on their little faces makes it all worth while. The generosity and humility of the often maligned biking community is nothing short of awesome.
